This website, alandecker.co, is the personal website of Alan Decker ("I," "me," or "my"). This Privacy Policy explains what information this site collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.

What I collect

Builder Notes signup. If you sign up for Builder Notes on the /notes/ page, I collect your email address, and, if you choose to provide them, your first name and company.

When you contact me. If you email or call me, I receive your email address or phone number and the content of your message.

This site does not run advertising trackers or analytics pixels. The site is served through Cloudflare, which provides a basic, privacy-focused visit-count beacon; I do not use it to identify individual visitors.

How I use it

I use signup information only to send you Builder Notes and related notes from me. I use contact information only to respond to you.

What I don't do

I do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and I do not share it with third parties for their marketing. I may use service providers to operate the site and deliver email, and they may process your information only to provide those services.

Unsubscribe and your choices

Every Builder Notes email includes an unsubscribe option, and you can unsubscribe at any time with one click. You may also ask me what information I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it, by contacting me below.

Retention

I keep signup information for as long as you remain subscribed. When you unsubscribe or ask for deletion, I delete your signup record, except where retention is required by law.

Changes to this policy

I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above will reflect the latest revision.
